Baffle and Side Pocket Panel (BSPP) Heating Systems consist of precision cast refractory shapes with internal heat producing elements. The BSPP System provides the holding heat requirement for an Isothermal Melter under idle conditions. These panels are designed to register into a permanently cast furnace liner, and are therefore removable and their heaters easily interchangeable. BSPP systems provide only enough heat to offset thermal losses to the system, and can maintain temperature within +/- 2 ° F of set-point.
